Collection of clever portable homeless solutions
Do the homeless need a better tent or a home? I’m certain that the answer is that they need both. I’m collecting a few of these to use in a blog post I’m working on for Tiny House Design. A tiny house homeless solution has been brewing in my head and I’m working up a super simple housing approach that would actually get people into a tiny home they’d be hard pressed to loose. Not that I’m knocking either of the ideas I’ve linked to here… the challenge of solving homelessness is so complex every solution is a good one for someone.

Energy Saving Inulation Guidelines & Choices
I was looking for general standards on insulation guidelines for houses and stumbled on the Department of Energy’s website and a few others. I’m not sure if these are all best practices because I think when it comes to insulation more is merrier. TreeHugger put together a good page on green insulation picks… but like everything in life… be on the lookout for green washing. Not every product is the same shade of green.
