Caldera Ti-Tri Stove

I’ve been doing a little research on lightweight backpacking equipment and ran across this great little tri-fuel system. It burns alcohol, wood, and esbit (fuel tabs). It’s a little expensive but the price seems fair for the flexibility and materials.

Clickstand Alcohol Camp Stove

I’ve been on the lookout for a good alcohol stove and I think I found it this morning on pathlesspedaled.com. It’s super lightweight and even has an optional wind screen. The stove is a Clickstand. You may also want to get a burner to go with the stove. Total package looks about $50.

Ultralight Backpacking Equipment

Great site for ultralight backpacking equipment. I’m not an ultralight backpacker but I look to these people for great simple living ideas like tiny alcohol stoves made from beer cans.
