This is cool. BuyHandmade.org is a blog/website/movement of people pledging to buy handmade stuff. Looks like a good place to post an art site link and search for artisits. It sure looks like opportunities are vast for artists online.

Jeff Campana – Potter

I’ve been thinking more and more about making pots again, not full-time of course but for fun and maybe a little side revenue stream. I was browsing ETSY.com the other night and spotted this potter in Kentucky. I really like his work. Check out Jeff Campana. You can also see his stuff on ETSY.com and 1000Markets.com. He twitters too… very web savvy potter.

Hand Made Garden Tools

Very cool hand made garden tools by a Palo Alto craftsman Rob Simpson. Combination wood worker and blacksmith. Wish the fellow had a website/blog of his own. He’d also do very well on etsy.com.

Side note: I did the Palo Alto Farmers’ Market a couple times years ago when I made pottery. Great Farmers’ Market as I remember it. Very affulent area, silicon valley, Stamford, etc.
